AdapLoan is committed to handling your personal data with integrity and care. This Privacy Policy sets out what information we gather when you use the AdapLoan mobile application ("App"), how that information is used, how it is protected, and what rights you hold as a user.

By downloading or using the App, you accept the terms of this Policy. If you do not accept these terms, please remove the App from your device. This Policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service, which governs your use of our services.

Data We Gather

2.1 Identity & Contact Details

To verify who you are and set up your account, we collect your full name, date of birth, phone number, email address, and government-issued identification details. This information is transmitted over encrypted channels and stored securely at:

This data is used solely for identity verification, account creation, and regulatory compliance. It is never sold to third parties.

2.2 Device & Technical Information

The App automatically collects technical details from your device, including its model, manufacturer, operating system version, IP address, and Google Advertising ID. These are used only to maintain App stability and platform security — never for advertising or credit decisions.

2.3 Installed App Metadata

For security validation purposes, the App may collect limited technical metadata — such as package names and installation timestamps — from other apps on your device. This does not include the contents, accounts, or activity of those apps. This metadata is used solely to detect compromised device environments and is not used in any credit-related decisions.

2.4 Camera Access

If you need to upload identity documents, the App may request camera access. Images are encrypted before transmission to server.adaploan.com and are permanently deleted once verification is complete. The camera is never activated in the background, and no images are retained beyond the verification process.

2.5 Approximate Location

With your consent, the App may collect general (coarse) location data to confirm service availability in your area. We do not collect precise GPS coordinates and never use location data for advertising, profiling, or credit decisions.

2.6 Usage & Diagnostic Data

We collect anonymized data on how you interact with the App — screens visited, session length, and crash reports — to improve performance and user experience. This data is fully anonymized and has no bearing on credit decisions or your account standing.

Why We Collect Data

We process your data exclusively for legitimate purposes. These include:

  • Identity verification and eligibility checks before account approval
  • Managing your revolving credit line and processing transactions
  • Preventing fraud and protecting the security of our platform
  • Responding to customer support requests and enquiries
  • Improving the App, fixing bugs, and enhancing our services
  • Fulfilling applicable legal and regulatory requirements

You may decline specific permissions. Doing so may limit certain App features but will not prevent general access to your account. Where you decline a permission, we will not use that data source.

How Long We Keep It

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy or to meet applicable legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations.

Once your account is closed and all legal retention periods have been satisfied, your data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymized. Specific retention periods vary depending on the category of data and the regulatory requirements that apply to it.

Age Requirement

AdapLoan is exclusively for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data from anyone under the age of 18. Our identity verification process is designed to prevent minors from accessing the platform.

If we discover that personal data belonging to a minor has been collected, we will delete it immediately and close the associated account without delay. If you believe a minor has accessed our services, please notify us at support@adaploan.com.
